Meteorological Conditions) |
IMC courses are run for up to 5 days culminating
with the CAA exam if you so wish. Please contact
us for course details.
Please be aware that the IMC rating is only recognized
within the UK FIR boundry.
The IMC written exam paper consists of 25 multi
choice questions, which have to be answered within 2 hours requiring
a pass mark of 72%.

- The definition of (MDH) Minimum Descent Height
- Morse Code Decoding
- Use of an (RBI) Relative Bearing indicator
- Decoding of Met symbols
- The pitot static system
- Minimum flight visibility for PPL with IMC rating
